To solve I used the graphing method. When graphing the first and second equation for number 5 I get the same line for both this is a dependent system meaning the solution would be the line itself y=x+5. 6. when simplified and graphed the graphs are y=x+5 and y=x+4. Both lines have the same slope and are perpendicular so they have no solution because they will never intersect.
