What I do when I write an essay:
First, do your research
Second, make sure that you are writing down, and taking notes of the stuff you need to write about
Third, make a draft of what you are supposed to write about
Fourth, cite your sources. Plagiarising is wrong, so, make sure you cite your sources
Fifth, rewrite your essay into a final draft.
Sixth, look for any spelling and punctuation errors.
