¹/₄(-16x) + ¹/₄(24)

answer is 6-4x

 1/4 evaluates to 1/4

Multiply x and 16

Multiply x and 1

after you have the answer it should come out to 
24-16x then multiply 1/4 * 24-16x

1/4 *24=6


1/4*(24-16*x) evaluates to 6-4x
