Rearrange.
[tex]ab+4+a+4b[/tex]
[tex]ab+a+4+4b[/tex]
Factor by grouping.
[tex]a(b+1)+4(1+b)[/tex]
[tex]a(b+1)+4(b+1)[/tex]
Find the GCF.
[tex](b+1)(a+4)[/tex]
