the answer is A. -12°F. we can calculate it by subtracting the initial temperature from the final temperature, i.e. -7-5 = -12

At 7 pm = 5° F

At 12 am = -7° F

Change in temperature = - 7 - 5 = -12° F

Hence, the answer is D.
