The length of a rectangle is 5 in longer than its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 38 in find it's area

The area of the rectangle is 84 inches squared.

The rectangles dimensions are 12x7 inches.
To find the area you would do base times height.
12 multiplied by 7 is 84.
A=84 inches squared.
