B. False. The British easily defeated the Italians in North Africa in 1940-41 and Italians soldiers were very much looked down upon. There is NO WAY the British would hire them as mercenaries, although they did have some Polish and free French troops

B, false because a majority of the mercenaries the British hired was the German Hessians. Hope this helps.
