Nick had 3 1/4 bottles of water for his wrestling practice. When he finished he had 1 2/4 bottles of water left. He said he used 2 1/4 bottles of water during the practice. Do you agree? Explain.

no because 2 1/4 + 1 2/4 = 3 3/4.and it is supposed to equal 3 1/4.It will equal 3 1/4 if he said he had 1 3/4 bottles left
