[tex]f(x)=2x^2-4x-3[/tex]

Procedure

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(-1)=2\cdot(-1)^2-4\cdot(-1)-3 \\ f(-1)=2+4-3 \\ f(-1)=3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The answer would be f(-1) = 3
