To find the constant of proportionality of the equation y = rx, from the values of the given table, just calculate the quotient r = y/x, where x and y can be any pair of values of the table.

For x = 3 and y = 30:

r = 30/3

r = 10

Hence, the constant of proportionality is

r = 10
