What is the difference aldehyde and ketone in organic chemistry​

Answer:

An aldehyde is a carbonyl group with a carbonyl carbon bonded to hydrogen and can be oxidized to a ketone while a ketone is a carbonyl group with a carbonyl carbon only bonded to oxygen atom and cannot be oxidized
