Answer:

3x + 5 = 12 - 7x

⇒ 3x = 12 - 5 - 7x

⇒ 3x = 7 - 7x

⇒ 3x + 7x = 7

⇒ 10x = 7

⇒ x= 7 ÷ 10

⇒ x = 0.7
