Tesfa is x years old. his father is 4 times as old as Tesfa. Her mother is 7 years younger than his father. If their three ages add up to 101 years, how old is Tesfa?

dad = 4x

mom= 4x-1

x+4x+4x-1=101

9x+1=101

9x=100

100/9= 11.1
