Add 2x to both sides

3x+3+2x=-2

Combine 3x and 2x

5x+3=-2

Subtract 3 from both sides

5x=-2-3

Subtract 3 from -2

5x=-5

Divide both sides by 5

x=-5/5

Divide -5 by 5
