Stokely Carmichael is a activist initiated the idea of black power to describe a more radical approach to civil rights, he was a Trinidadian-American political activist best known as a rising young community organizer in the civil rights movement. He is a national chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in 1966 and 1967.
