Poseidon's son Polyphemus was the first killed by Odysseus and his men on the trip home from the Trojan War after being enslaved by Polyphemus.
He was asleep when Odysseus and his men disguised themselves as one of Polyphemus' sheeps and stabbed him in the eye causing him to go blind and helping Odysseus and his men to escape.
