Answer: It increases

Explanation: A liquid boils at a higher temperature. When heat is applied to the liquid, the temperature increases until it reaches its boiling temperature (boiling point), a temperature at which it starts to boil. For instance pure water boils at 100°C and freezes at 0°C. As the liquid continues to boil, the temperature continues to increase.
