A rope is tied to the top of the 6m wall of a tent and tied to a peg in the ground. The peg is 2m from the bottom of the tent. How long is the rope, correct to 2d.p​

c x c = a x a + b x b
c x c = 6 x 6 + 2 x 2
c x c = 36 + 4
square root of c x c = 40
c = 6.32
therefore, the rope is 6.32m
