A sandbox has a width of 5 feet. The sandbox is 5 times as long as it is wide. What is the perimeter of the sandbox?

the dimensions of the sandbox
a = 5ft  width
b = 5*a = 5 * 5ft  = 25ft 
 length

 the perimeter of the sandbox
P = 2* (a + b) = 2 * (5ft + 25ft) = 2 * 30ft = 60ft
