We must multiply the number of bytes per pixel and the number of pixels:

[tex]4\times10^0 \cdot 2.2\times10^6 = 4\cdot 2.2 \times 10^0\cdot 10^6 = 8.8\times 10^{0+6} = 8.8\times 10^6[/tex]

So, there are 8.8 millions bytes
