used in 1 cake by 1/2 cup. He then uses 4 cups of sugar to bake 6 cakes.
How much sugar was originally in each cake recipe? ​

First you have to divide the 4 by 6 to get the amount of one cake then Multiply by 2 to get the regular amount.
