The League of Nations was a failure.

The purpose of the League of Nations was to insure that another World War did not happen (which failed because WWII occurred a few years later).

The country whose president had thought of the idea did not take part of the League of Nation, and being the nation that could hold most of the swaying power, the US failed to monitor other nations (being an isolationist country).
