Since continents drift over time, the Earth will not look the same in 50 million years. Millions of years ago all of the continents were conjoined in a "super-continent" called Pangea. Over time Pangea broke apart in to the continents we see today. Assuming the continental drift will follow the trends of the past, Earth will look significantly different in the future.
