 (x - 4)(x - 3) + (2 - x)(x - 1)

= x² - 3x - 4x + 12 + 2x - 2 - x² + x

= x² - x²     -3x - 4x + 2x + x     +12 - 2  

=     0                   -4x                    +10

Answer: -4x + 10
