f⁻¹(x): x = 9y² - 12

x + 12 = 9y²

[tex]\frac{x+12}{9} = y^{2}[/tex]

[tex]\sqrt{\frac{x+12}{9}} = |y|[/tex] ; x ≥ -12

[tex]+/-\sqrt{\frac{x+12}{9}} = y[/tex]
