we are given

[tex] (x-2)^2-3=1 [/tex]

we can seperate them

First function is

[tex] y=(x-2)^2-3 [/tex]

second function is

[tex] y=1 [/tex]

now, we can draw graph

and find intersection points

so, we can see that

intersection points are

(0,1) and (4,1)

so, solutions are

[tex] x=0,x=4 [/tex]...........Answer
